Aligeri - Chapter 12Chapter Twelve: Light and Dark

He appeared to be his normal self, but realizing the precise source of the sound they heard was distressing. The aligeri was tangled in what could only be described as black webbing, and the noise was him trying (and failing) to break free. In fact, the more he fought with it, the more tangled he got. He didn't even notice Feles and Guy. They stood there for a moment in silence, before finally Guy broke the silence.

"Alyx..." he said slowly, not wanting to startle him because it was obvious that the aligeri hadn't noticed them yet. "What happened?"

Aligeri - Chapter 11Chapter Eleven: Training

"An important request?" Guy repeated, making it easier to see as the others had also come to take a look. "What's the request?"

He wondered what it could be, especially when it was something coming from Feles. He didn't doubt that it was important, that was for sure.

"I need all of you to come here, to my floating castle," she explained. "The princess will be ready to leave soon enough, but I think there are a few things I must do before I send her home. And besides..."

The mage's eyes shifted to emerald and she smiled at them.

"Ruby misses you, Guy."

Guy grinned, very excited and pleased at the news.

Aligeri - Chapter 10Chapter Ten: Changes

Sleep was peaceful, and everyone was able to get all the rest that they needed, which was an extremely good thing, considering how incredibly exhausting the day had been.

The next morning, everyone was refreshed. The sprites were up early, having decided to surprise everyone with breakfast, and the baking food smelled absolutely delicious. As everyone was waking up, there was one definite difference: Alyx was still asleep. He was usually the first one up, so this was very strange.

When everyone sat down and Guy heard what he said, his eyes narrowed.

"What did he do?!"

What else could Kyne have possibly done to make his view of him any lower?

"Remember how we saw the Idem brothers with him earlier?" Alyx began. "Well, the good news is that they aren't working with him willingly."

Guy nodded, then sighed with relief. Thank goodness, he was afraid that they really HAD wanted Kyne to win, and were just lying to him.

"But unfortunately, he's taken their souls captive, so they're forced to do whatever he says..." Clarice ended for Alyx, sadly. Guy's eyes widened and his tan skin paled slightly.

Aligeri - Chapter 8Chapter Eight: The Third

The night was peaceful, the beds surprisingly comfortable. None of them had ever slept so well. In the morning, Alyx was up early making a breakfast for them all. He was a little anxious about returning to the castle. He wondered what Feles had in mind for them.

"Oh, good morning, Alyx! You're up rather early," came the cheerful voice of Clarice as she came out into the room. She smiled at him, seeing how he was making breakfast.

"Would you like any help?"

"If you could set the table, that would be great," Alyx said. "I'm almost done cooking these eggs."

Guy and Clarice looked up, startled as they heard the noise.

"Wha... sister!?" Guy exclaimed, shocked. That woman on the creature looked like Feles! Was that the sister that Feles had mentioned earlier? She didn't look too happy about what had just happened, either. This looked like it was going to be trouble.

"Of what crime have you accused my sister of?" the woman questioned. "Of what crime have you murdered her for?"

Another thunder crack as streak of heat lightning shot across the sky.

Very nice and creative character design. I love all the colors you put him in, especially with him being part bard. It really works for him. Also the whip dagger just fits giving how its all fancy and flashy, almost dance like while also reaching through the air to long distances, hitting his air genasi side. It looks like a rather fun character for sure.

I can't wait to play my first game with him. Admittedly, multiclassing means I won't have as many spells as a full bard would, but I'm looking to play the party's expert and support.

Given the fact you can sneak attack when flanking and with your killer reach with the whip dagger, you'll be the perfect support role.

Although the whip doesn't threaten in melee and provokes attacks of opportunity like using a ranged weapon in melee does.
