And the colored version of Zephyr's new costume, so I have a reference for later pics. Along the side are color swatches for the Prismacolor markers I used, along with which part of his design they were used for and the marker number. It's a little hard to read in this scan, but they go as follows from top to bottom:

  • Skin (144 - Cloud Blue)
  • Hair (131 - Deco Yellow)
  • Trim (17 - Sunburst Yellow)
  • Tunic/Boots (151 - Raspberry)
  • Gold (123 - Spanish Orange)
  • Shirt/Band (4 - Crimson Red)
  • Leather (63 - Sienna Brown)
  • Belt/Pants (145 - Blue Slate)
  • Eyes (127 - Imperial Violet)



    • Interestingly, I was going to have him play a pipe or some other sort of woodwind instrument. Now I'm not so sure, because making him mostly red and yellow and having him play a flute would remind me way too much of the Pied Piper ^^;

I could do that. Who would you like me to draw? Or render (though that may take a while, since I need to wait for my new external hard drive before I'll have enough space for all of my 3D stuff).

Took me a while to think about this...I'd like to see your version of Alice and the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. Drawn and colored, if you please (markers will work wonderfully. :) )

Now...is there a particular way you would like to have your character drawn? :?

*Makes note of request* I love Alice in Wonderland. Need to get my scanner up and running too...

And hmm... some sort of active pose. He plays a flute as his instrument (finally decided on that) and he wields a bladed whip as a weapon. I actually did a sketch of him wielding his whip, but until I get a new cable for my scanner, I won't be able to color it, since I don't color my original lines.
