"S'ok, I'll get your address from Alton and pick you up. He wants to go to this place called Jupiter's that's a stone's throw away from his shop. Never been, but I hear it's semi-formal, so, um, dress nice?" Enya was rambling, apparently as nervous as he was. "Anyway, I'll be there in about ten. Does that work for you?"

"Yeah, sure. Sure. Later." After he hung up, he took

Nathan shrugged. "A weird one," he admitted honestly, quickly running ideas through his mind. A story concept he'd been working on popped into his head, and he ran with it. "It was like a gender-swapped Snow White with some Hamlet overtones. The king had mysteriously vanished and was replaced by his brother, who wanted the prince dead so he could take over the kingdom. Snow White was male, and he was a blind albino, and the seven dwarves were seven human lycanthropes." He shrugged again. "Very weird."

Another entry for the Silly Season contest. Using the Grimoire of Questionable Spells again, I got this:

The Unholy Spell of the Cabbage Fairy

Now, I don't know about you, but when it comes to cabbage, there is nothing more unholy than sauerkraut. Not only does it smell and taste nasty, but it's name litterally mean "sour cabbage" (ie. it's made by bacteria eating away at it >_< ).

Drawn free-hand and colored in Photoshop.

UPDATE: Hooray! I got an honorable mention ^_^
