Nathan held the shard steady until Wren came into view. The teen froze, eyes widening, but he couldn't let him hesitate. "Wren! Get over here now!" That got him going, though he kept as far away from the angel as he could when he jogged up to them. The writer shifted Avery up so he could take him, but kept his gaze on Gabriel. "Get him out of here," Nathan said as calmly as he could. "Call an ambulance and get him to a hospital."

Wren nodded quickly. "What...?"

"Go Wren!"

Another entry for the Silly Season contest. Using the Grimoire of Questionable Spells again, I got this:

The Unholy Spell of the Cabbage Fairy

Now, I don't know about you, but when it comes to cabbage, there is nothing more unholy than sauerkraut. Not only does it smell and taste nasty, but it's name litterally mean "sour cabbage" (ie. it's made by bacteria eating away at it >_< ).

Drawn free-hand and colored in Photoshop.

UPDATE: Hooray! I got an honorable mention ^_^
