The hardest thing I've had to face
Is writing up Thanksgiving grace.
My hands are numb; my brain is sore
From writing things I'm thankful for.
I've tried to make this short and sweet
Like "Thank you for this bread and meat."
But that did not seem like enough.
(I didn't know this was so tough)
What were the others thankful for?
(By now my brain was really sore)
At last, my creativity
Created an answer for me:
I'd write a poem I could quote
And this is what I finally wrote:
To family, friends, and many more
The many things we’re thankful for
The many people we should thank
We thank them for: fill in the blank.

Ha! That's pretty good.
Have you ever heard the one (It's form a Lesley Neilson movie, but fool me which)
"Good food,
Good meat,
Good God
Let's eat."
Yes, no?
