REDUX: Carmilla by Cei-Ellem REDUX: Carmilla by Cei-Ellem
Wow, this one was a fun one to make. My first go at her was a little too "teenage goth" to work, and this one captures Carmilla's elegance much better. She's a huge improvement over her original, I think. The coloring on her dress was something of a fluke that I don't even remember how I came upon. Some toying around in DAZ will be necessary in the future, I think.

Set up in DAZ|Studio and rendered in LuxRender. Zero postwork.

the texture of the new image is much more real and impressive. but the former's posture is more dynamic. i kinda like em both

Since I was doing portrait styles for all the characters, the low angle I had in the original just didn't work here, but I do agree. It was more menacing.

I like it too, and a lot better than the first one I had her in. She is very elegant, if anything else.

Yes I compared the two. I can see what you were trying with the first dress...

But I think the second dress actually accomplishes it. I love the detailing.

Sometimes, it's better to settle on premade textures.
