Gavroche Vianes

One of my characters for a friend's RP, The Kingdom of Eternal Night, this is Gavroche Vianes, and he's a Luscinia with the Mark of Pandemonium (see my other deviation for a list of all the marks). As such, his powers are a bit random; he has telekinesis and can create audio illusions. Gavroche is eighteen years old and comes from a large merchant family that trades in spices, incense, and other fine goods, which they also sell from a family store. He's the middle child of five, and the only Luscinia. The Mark of Pandemonium first appeared when he was ten years old, but the only person who saw it was his younger sister, Dynaera, who was only two. He didn't even realize it; he was asleep at the time. Not understanding what the symbol meant (and unable to really tell anyone about it), no one knew about it, nor did they understand why little Dyn kept bopping her brother on the forehead every time he held her. It wasn't until one afternoon, when his brothers were teasing him, that the magic inside of him backfired and caused significant damage to his siblings and the surrounding area. Gavroche's brothers survived, but from that point on they were more wary of him. It took a while for everyone to figure out exactly what powers the Luscinia had, and when they learned one of his skills was telekinesis, they put it to good use. His eldest brother, Mairit, is twenty-five and in charge of running the daily business in the family's shop, and he has Gavroche use his powers to keep things clean and help stock shelves. On one occasion, his other brother, Jaerni, age twenty-three, made him use his powers to help him commit a crime. While Jaerni was only fined, Gavroche was punished by having his left eye removed. Gavroche has a close bond with his younger siblings, his sisters Dyn, who is now ten, and Attandri, age two.
