Dresden Redux - Old Zacharriah

First, mad thanks to my roommate: not only is this his character (though technically an NPC in-game), but he gave me a ton of input on his design, appearance, and pose. We were literally up past midnight getting the aging effects just right for the look he wanted.

That said, this is definitely the oldest character I've ever rendered, and it was fun getting all those wrinkly morphs in. Zacharriah originated in the original game attempt (the special agent who had some divine entity granting him powers), and he now returns as a world-worn assassin for God. In his 70s-80s, he can still kick your ass.

And apparently, he's either not going to like or be extremely wary of Alistair, since the punk bears a striking resemblance to his grandfather -- the one who caused the apocalypse -- and isn't entirely sane himself.

Set up in DAZ|Studio Pro 4.6, rendered in LuxRender, minor postwork in Photoshop (adding smoke to his cigarette).

Fun fact: the tiny tears in his shirt were accidental; they're poke-through that just looks right for the feel of the piece!
