DnD Figurine: Maestro

I am extremely happy with how this render came out, and not just because I'm excited about this character (though that is a big part of it). This was just overall very fun for me to make, in part because of the modified skin texture I made, with custom eyebrows too. Another NPC, and one I hope to use more as the game progresses.

Maestro is the second person the group has met from the Shadow Realms: the world that runs parallel to the one they live in. A minor detail, all things considered, as the man has plenty of other mysteries surrounding him. He introduced himself as "a raven from the Rookery," which the others were quick to realize meant that he was a follower of the Raven Queen, the goddess of death. Not only that, but Maestro (who is a flutist) also claims to be the counter to Zino, knowing the song that opposes his Symphony of Life, aptly called the Music of Death. He is also an admitted pacifist, though he will defend himself if attacked. The only other thing known about him is that he's a changeling, a fact that he does not hide, though he does present himself as human since his true appearance is even more disquieting. Regardless, he doesn't seem to mean the party any harm, although the only person he has warmed up to is Althea (which makes sense, given she's the party's diplomat).

Set up in DAZ|Studio and rendered in LuxRender via Reality. Minor postwork in Photoshop (color correction and layering: needed two renders to conceal pokethrough with his hood).
