I always knew there would be a time when my duties to the Ethereon would require me to leave my home. I am not surprised by the timing, but I wish it had been under different circumstances… I’m getting ahead of myself. Allow me to explain the history of Aeloria Vale, my family’s influence there, and how I came to be known as the Lady of the Manor: My predecessors have deep roots in the community, having established the first iteration of the city as a mining operation. I can’t say for certain what caused the earthquake that swallowed that first Aeloria Vale into oblivion (it could have been the mines, but I have a feeling the Ethereon may have been involved), but a new city was built directly on top of the old.
